The line that matters

We do not earn affiliate commission, referral fees, or any payment from Webdoctor.ie or any other online-doctor or telehealth operator listed on this site. Our operator overview is deliberately neutral: the operators are listed factually, with external links marked nofollow, and no operator pays to be included, excluded, ranked, or described in any particular way. That independence is the whole point of the page.

Who we have affiliate or partner arrangements with

• At-home testing — providers such as LetsGetChecked, on their test kits.
• Health insurance — comparison or broker partners, where applicable. The free Health Insurance Authority (HIA) comparison tool is always offered as the neutral, non-commercial baseline.
• Our own sister sites — links to other Irish information sites we operate (such as sti.ie) are internal, not paid placements.

How we choose what to recommend

Affiliate relationships never decide what we say. We point to options because they're genuinely useful for the reader — and where a free or cheaper public option exists (the HSE's free home STI testing, the HIA's free comparison tool, the medical card), we say so plainly, even though we earn nothing from it.
